“O Sacred Head Now Wounded”

“O Sacred Head Now Wounded”

Mar 20th, 2019 | By: Luther Curia

A youth musician from our St. Paul’s family will be playing “O Sacred Head Now Wounded” during the offering tonight. “O Sacred Head”, written originally in German by Paul Gerhardt, has enjoyed great popularity since 1656. The hymn appears in most modern hymnals, in many languages and translations, and with various numbers of stanzas. Deeply devotional, the text makes a very personal application of Christ’s atoning death (st. 1-4) and confesses our gratitude and commitment to Christ (st. 5-7)

Join us for our 3rd midweek Lenten service. The Boy Pioneers will be serving french bread pizza starting at 5. Worship is at 6:30!
