Dear members of St. Paul’s, “I rejoiced with those who said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord’” - Psalm 122:1. We look forward with joy to returning to worship together. As we plan for this, we want to glorify our Lord, encourage each other in the gospel, show love for each other by following health guidelines, be respectful of the various comfort levels that each of us has regarding the pandemic, and follow our plan carefully. Due to the other worship plans we had in place through the end of May, and in order to ensure that we have volunteers in place and trained for service support (ushers, A / V, sanitizing crews, etc.), as well as the appropriate sanitizing supplies on hand, we are targeting June 7 to resume in-person worship. In order to maintain the suggested capacity and distancing guidelines (about 80-110 people per service), we will ask worshipers to sign up online or by phone over the course of the week leading up to attending a service. Our current plan is to resume with services on Sunday morning and Monday evening. More details will be communicated in the coming weeks. We realize that not everyone will be comfortable coming back right away. Some may be unable to attend worship because of their level of vulnerability to sickness. We respect your conscience’s decision in your situation. Be at peace knowing that you can continue to participate with recorded worship services, online Bible studies, and scheduled communion appointments with our pastors. Our pastors are also always happy to offer counseling and guidance with God’s Word. If you have questions or concerns, please direct them to our congregational leadership. In Christ, The St. Paul’s Elders, President, and Pastors
