What do Big Lots, Joann’s, Red Lobster, Spirit Airlines, True Value, and Tupperware all have in common? They all declared bankruptcy in 2024. They were not producing like they needed to produce and they had to file Chapter 11. They should have been done for. Yet some bankrupt companies will continue to operate in 2025 due to new ownership or restructuring. The Lord decides when business begins and ends for each person. In spite of our failures, the Lord has given us 2024. He is demanding, yet also merciful and generous. 2025 is Another Year to Produce Fruit for Him. Our sermon comes from Ecclesiastes 12.
