St. Paul’s has added a FLEX hour to its curriculum this year. We have three goals for this addition.
1) Students will learn life skills. 2) Students will gain confidence as they acquire new knowledge and skills they can use outside of school. 3) Students will have further opportunity to develop soft skills through group activity, communication and collaboration.
There are four FLEX periods: Baking & Cooking, Woodworking, Tennis, and Culture. Students are organized into mixed groups and will spend one academic quarter in each of the FLEX periods. Throughout the course of the year, all students will have opportunity to participate in all learning experiences. Our first FLEX period was a great success!
