Fire Safety

Oct 11th, 2019 | By: Luther Curia

Fire Prevention Week has been observed every October since 1922. It commemorates the great Chicago and Peshtigo fires that started on October 8, 1871. This week the Howards Grove volunteer fire department brought over an ambulance, two fire engines, and the Survive Alive House for grades 1-4 to explore. Thank you to all of our fantastic local volunteers who shared their knowledge about fire safety with our students! And thank you for your service to our community!
