SpellCheck PTF Fundraiser
We are excited to announce that students in 3K Preschool through 8th Grade will be participating in the 1st Annual St. Paul's SpellCheck PTF Fundraiser! This unique event combines learning and fundraising, with all of the proceeds benefiting our school (minus any payment processing fees).
We're setting our goal at $5,000! The funds raised this year will be used to purchase additional outdoor play equipment for our growing school!
Here's how it works: SpellCheck is a combination of academics and fundraising. Students in grades 1-8 are given 50 words to spell. In Kindergarten students are given 20 words to spell and 10 words to read. And in 3K & 4K preschool, students are given 26 letters to identify.
From March 24 until April 22, students are encouraged to reach out to family and friends to collect tax-deductible pledges for how many words they can spell correctly (a flat amount can also be donated). After the spelling test is conducted and graded tests are sent home, students will collect the pledges based on their score. Various prizes will be given to classrooms and individuals who help meet these goals!
