Stay tuned for service information!
Dear members of St. Paul’s,
In response to the threat of the coronavirus and imposed gathering restrictions, the leaders of our congregation have been working on plans for worship for the next two Sundays (March 22 & 29) with the goal of being able to serve our members, as well as honoring our neighbors and government. After the next two Sundays, St. Paul’s leadership will re-evaluate the situation to determine future worship plans.
For the next two Sundays, we are planning on having services both at 8:00am & 10:30am (no Bible class between services). Instead of worshiping together in the sanctuary, members will have the option to either view the service online via live stream (http://yourstreamlive.com/events/1375423), or come to the church parking lot and remain in their vehicles and listen to the service via FM broadcast (88.3 FM). Hard copy bulletins will be available to those in their vehicles. Pastor Mueller will be leading the service from the sanctuary with a small group singing hymns/small group songs. The service will be similar to traditional worship but the hymns will be shortened.
For those attending in the parking lot, ushers will be on hand under the canopy to distribute bulletins and help answer any questions. The bathrooms will not be available on Sunday. For those attending the service, an offering box will be available under the canopy. Other giving options include mailing or dropping your offerings off in the office. Online giving options are also available (https://www.stpaulshowardsgrove.org/Donate.php). We are encouraging our members to continue giving with a cheerful heart during these uncertain times. This is a way to honor the Lord, place our trust in Him and allow St. Paul’s to continue to meet its financial obligations.
The online viewing options for Sunday’s service include:
● Live stream at 8:00 AM (for this Sunday) http://yourstreamlive.com/events/1375423
● The live stream is being recorded and will be available to view when desired, using the same URL.
● Look for this URL on St. Paul’s website, Facebook or emails that may be sent out.
● This service will be available on cable TV. Tune in to channel 95 or 990 (Sheboygan) Tuesdays at 10:00 am., and channel 14 (Howards Grove) Tuesdays at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.
● It will also be uploaded to St. Paul’s YouTube channel.
The Monday evening service for March 23 has been cancelled. Bible class options are still being finalized so look for more information coming soon regarding that.
Communion will not be available this Sunday, March 22. Pastor Bode (920-224-2961) will be available at church to offer communion to small groups on Monday, March 23, (6:30 to 8:00 pm) and Tuesday, March 24, (9:00 am to 1:00 pm). Pastor Mueller (920-207-2316) will be available at church to offer communion most of the day on Thursday, March 26. During these times, offerings may also be dropped off and scrip may be purchased. Please call the appropriate pastor ahead of time to schedule receiving communion.
Keep in mind that in all things, even during these times, God works for the good of those who love him (Romans 8:28).
In His Service,
St. Paul’s Board of Elders
