The LORD told Adam and Eve that there would be enmity - that is hostility - between Eve’s believing offspring and unbelieving children of the devil. That has been true in every generation since. Where can children of God turn when God’s enemies belittle and blame and abuse them? Through these Sundays after Epiphany, we continue our focus on the blessings of gathering as God’s people. Today we gather for boldness in opposition. Our sermon is on Acts 4.
