St. Paul’s Sunday Worship March 20 & 21

St. Paul’s Sunday Worship March 20 & 21

Mar 15th, 2022 | By: Pastor Mueller

Greetings to all of you as I write this on Tuesday morning,

It’s easy to fall into the trap of becoming your own prophet. What does that mean? Sometimes we find ourselves reading between the lines of circumstances and snapping to judgments…about God. “This bad thing happened to that person, so that must mean…” “A tornado took place in this location and destroyed this so that must mean that God…” It doesn’t necessarily work that way. Assuming that human tragedy is the result of specific sin is not prophetically reading God’s mind and thoughts! Instead, the theme of the day reminds us in all circumstances to humble ourselves and repent for our sin. We’ll find God in the gospel. He promises to be there. In the gospel he lets us in on his thoughts so we don’t need to guess. We know exactly what he thinks of us in Jesus.

God bless your worship of the great I Am this weekend.
