As the time draws closer for Jesus’ death, tension builds between him and the Jewish leadership. He warns that rejecting him brings a crushing blow, for he will be established as the stone which upholds the Church. God’s people have consistently faced hardship and dismissal - and often deserved it. Yet in Christ, the Lord Reestablishes the Rejected. Our sermon is based on Psalm 73.
