Some estimates place the damage inflicted by hurricane Ian at over $60 billion. That won’t be repaired and resolved in a week. And it won’t be the last hurricane to hit Florida. This will take persistence, day after day, for residents to rebuild and people to rally together. Jesus teaches us today that it is the same when it comes to prayer. You can’t give up. Amid disaster and difficulty, you have a God who listens, who saves, and who blesses his people who hold tightly to him and to his promises. God’s people Pray Persistently. Our sermon is based on Luke 18.
