This second weekend of Advent, we hear a voice crying out in the wilderness: repent! Make straight paths for the Lord! And to all who humbly confess their sins, the Lord echoes words of comfort. Comfort, my people! Your sins are forgiven in the One who fought our battle and won at the cross. The eternal Word gives eternal life to us withering flowers.
Today, we are honored to host the Manitowoc Lutheran High School Lancer Singers, under the direction of Mr. Joel Ungemach. Our guest preacher, Pastor Norv Kock, will give a message of comfort in the Lord, our shepherd. The sermon is from Isaiah 40.
