The 1-2nd Graders today went back in history to the early era of Manitowoc WI. Several miles west of Manitowoc Lutheran High School is Pinecrest Village, with a train (engine, flatcar, and caboose), church, school, town hall, home(s), firehouse, smokehouse, bank, home goods & apothecary, milk house, butcher, and more!

On Sunday, May 19, a group of fourteen 8th graders will graduate from St. Paul's School. This is the largest class to graduate! Please pray for these students and their transition to high school. A brief graduation ceremony takes place within the 10:30 am church service that day. God's blessings!

In Social Studies, the 5-6th graders experienced firsthand the importance of traded goods during the Era of Exploration. They each created their own 'commodity' to trade with fellow classmates. Once everyone had a chance to experience trading their wares on a 1 to 1 equal value, we then increased the value of some of the commodities to demonstrate the idea of supply and demand.

In chapel this morning Pastor Mueller encouraged us to live in peace and harmony with our Christian brothers and sisters at school and everywhere. Sometimes it takes work, but it is an opportunity to praise God for the blessing of friends, neighbors, and family! Students in K-4th grade enjoyed lunch recess outside today. It was a joy for the teachers to see our students enjoying being with one another and sharing Jesus' love with each other! -Ephesians 4:3-6
