FLEX Hour - Cooking Class

The students in our first quarter cooking class enjoyed learning about the difference between whole grain and all purpose flour. Then they learned how to make whole wheat pancakes, a berry compote topping, and crispy bacon.

It is wonderful to see these young people excited about nourishing their bodies with healthy foods. After all, our bodies are the dwelling place of the Lord; how we take care of them is an opportunity to praise our Creator!
